Hua on Writing
Mood is important to me. If I don’t have mood, I can’t write. My brain will get stuck, and stops me thinking any other ideas. Every time I write a essay, I write slowly. I need more time to create ideas and mood. Once I can get the mood from the story I want to write, ideas come out like the volcano blows up. My pen is free moving on the paper but it’s also not “free” at all. All the sentences are relating to each other and bringing you to the feeling of the story.

You know the thing with volcanoes is that they don't erupt quickly. Lava boils and bubbles long before the thing erupts, so the time when you feel stuck, you might actually not be as stuck as you think because that little volcano in your head is just heating up. Nice metaphor.
